Tavor TS12 Knurled Charging Handle

The Tavor TS12 Knurled Charging handle projects out 1/4″ farther than the OEM handle and has a 1/2″ diameter knurled drum for good purchase, and we have found this to be the perfect size to give a good grip without racking knuckles on the receiver yet the handle does not project out too far from the side of the gun.
Just like the OEM handle the Knurled Charging Handle will work on both the left and right side of the gun and is a drop in replacement made 100% in the USA.
NOTE: Early production handles are solid with two sets of notches on the “shaft” that goes in the gun. Current production handles have a hollow handle portion and a single set of notches on the shaft that should face rearward during installation. The design changes do not affect performance of the handle and were for manufacturing purposes.

This has been a great upgrade for my new TS12. It is far more ergonomic than the charging handle included with the OEM firearm. Much easier to grasp and operate. However, the end does not have a cover as pictured on the product page. It’s an open-ended cylinder. It doesn’t affect function at all, so I’m still giving this five stars, but I personally would have found it more aesthetically-pleasing if it had been as pictured.

Awesome addon feels great pulling to charge…. However, word of Caution for User Error.
Original Charge handle has notches on both sides so either way you install in TS12 its locked in.
This version has notches only on one side and must be installed as stated ..ie single set of notches on the shaft that should face rearward during installation.
I can confirm this is 100% the case as I was shooting and I accidentally installed backwards, notches forward and the charging handle was ejected while shooting and slammed into my lip . Needless to say I now have a fat bloody lip …
My experience has now come up with extra safety step for charge handle …install on opposite side of gun which works rather well. and verify it doesn’t pull out easily.

I love it!!! You can operate it very easily and it doesn’t hurt my finger joint like the original does! It is very nicely made, beautifully finished and looks great on my gun! It actually fits better than the original and operates the gas regulator with much less slop! I recommend this charge handle to everyone that owns a TS-12!

I bought this charging handle and was totally disappointed the indents weren’t on
both sides of the shaft. If you put it in backwards, it can fall out. I’m taking to a machine
shop to have them added for another 25 dollars.

The notches are on only one side to increase the strength of the handle. Notches are only required on the side facing rearward to engage the detents that lock it in the firearm. Everything we do is designed with a purpose, you can always reach out to us to ask if you have a question on why something is the way it is.

Excellent upgrade for the stock handle. Two things missing however:
1) the notches in the shaft are only on one side, meaning you have to be careful when you reinsert the handle. Thats not such as problem for most guns, but on the TS12 you pull out and use the charging handle to adjust the gas block between High and Low brass settings… then have to re-insert the handle. This is an easy fix… just machine both sides of the shaft like the factory unit is.
2) this handle, like the stock handle, is too thick to push the butt-pad release button if you, like most of us, also bought the Manticore Arms curved butt pad. There IS about 1/2″ of shaft that sticks out the other side of the gun, and the amount of narrowing needed to get it to that button is minimal.
Hopefully they release an updated version that fixes these two issues. Still, it’s nice to have a larger handle to charge with. 4 solid stars.
