The Reduced Signature Chest Rig (RSCR, also known as the “Risker”), gives you the ability to carry (3) AR15 mags securely and in greater comfort while keeping a very low profile on your person.  (Note that AUG mags will fit, but the tab on the back of the magazine can slow the process of pulling it out of the pouch)

Each magazine pouch features a front folding magazine cover to keep the magazine protected prior to action. Pulling the tab on the magazine cover will flip it forward to expose the magazine for use, and a unique cover geometry will keep it in the open position simply from the way the material folds (think of how you cuff your jeans and you get the idea). For additional security the cover has hook and loop tape to secure it in the open and closed position.

Magazine retention is inherently good, but can additionally be adjusted by and integral shock cord across the face of the pouches. An additional shock cord on the lower front of the rig gives you a place to stow additional gear in a pinch including tourniquets, compression bandages and first aid gear, your gloves, or even a candy bar. Loops on each side of the main rig allow for securing light sticks, pens, folding knives, and other similarly sized gear.

The chest rig harness is specifically designed to be low profile and be more comfortable than the average chest rig harness. The harness consists of an X layout with the two sides connected by a central piece of shock cord loop, and a waist strap that also has a shock cord loop- these shock cord loops give you the ability to have a bit of extra stretch in sudden movement instead of getting that sharp cutoff from over-extension that pure webbing straps normally give.

The straps are designed to be extremely low profile for wear under clothing or other gear so as to prevent pressure hot spots. The chest rig itself has a couple more hidden features, including a hook and loop tape closed map pocket behind the magazine pouches, a hook and loop tape panel on the back face allowing you to either mount a “hanger” pouch for additional gear underneath the rig, or by removing the straps and using the QD buckles and hook and loop tape panel on the back the RSCR can be direct mounted to a plate carrier or body armor carrier of your choice.
