The Shadow Flash Hider is a more compact and economical version of the Eclipse flash hider that features three short, straight prongs for excellent flash hiding capability. The Shadow Flash Hider will clear any round up to 9mm in diameter (i.e. 300 Blackout, 5.56mm, .22LR, etc). It is marked “MA” and “9mm” to denote that it is a 922r compliant part made in the USA by Manticore Arms and comes with a crush washer.

Bought this to use on my newly arrived BRN-9 upper as it only came with a thread protector. Based on my experience purchasing items from MA previously I knew it was going to be high quality. Once again, I was not disappointed. Obviously it screwed right on, no issues with the threads. Took it to the range and it allowed the rounds to go through it unmolested. Works as advertised.
