NOTE: We have found through extensive testing that Magpul QD sling swivels are slightly undersized compared to most other QD sling swivels on the market, and may disconnect from the QD pockets on the Buttpad while all others stay locked in the QD pockets. We recommend use of Midwest Industries QD sling swivels for a high quality swivel.
The Hellion Curved Buttpad features an aluminum and hard polymer structure with a bolt on rubber buttpad pad, and reduces the length of pull 1″ shorter over the rather long OEM length of pull (15.5″ vs. the 16.5″ to 18.25″ of the OEM).
The rubber pad is curved to conform to the shoulder and gives both better ergonomics and a better grip so the rifle does not slide around, and has an additional 1″ of “drop” at the toe over the OEM Hellion buttpad to give a much larger surface area and the ability to ride the rifle more securely on the shoulder for a more inline stance. The buttpad is designed to keep the rifle over 26″ in overall length.

I’m just under 5’8″ inch and the original buttstock made it very unpleasant shoulder and fire due to the long length of reach to the grip. Now that I have installed the Manticore buttstock, this made it more comfortable to shoot and it was simple to install. This is what the Hellion should of come with in the first place. Thanks Manticore and keep up the good work.

This stock is amazing! and fixed everything I hated about the hellion (Its original stock). I stand at 6ft and found that the original stock was to long even in its shortest form. Especially after moving from an AR. With this stock it shortens it by an inch. Which tbh doesn’t sound like much, but makes a world of difference to me. The stocks ergonomics as well are a HUGE and welcomed upgrade, it is much more comfortable. Throw in the amazing build quality and super responsive website, makes this an amazing buy!
