Made to be absolutely rock solid with no flex, the Brimstone Forend for Hellion starts as a solid 5 pound billet of 6061 aluminum, and is meticulously machined down to its final aerodynamic 9.6 ounce form. Featuring 4 M-LOK slots on both sides and the underside, gripping grooves for sweaty or slippery hands, and integrally machined QD pockets on both sides, it has everything you could need with no extra weight or waste. It is finished with an moderately aggressive bead blast and Type III black milspec anodizing for a non-slip grip and a perfect match to the finish of your Hellion.

Just installed the Brimstone forend last night. It slid in nice and taut, and the perfect fitment is a testament to the months of painstaking perfectionism Sven described in the email announcing the product.
The stock forend on the Hellion has a slight bow in it, making the M-LOK slots on top have a minor cant to them. This forend is perfectly straight, so no matter what accessory I would want to mount, it won’t interfere with removing or re-installing the forend. The head of my weapon light no longer rubs against the swiveling sling catch! And while I don’t have a laser on this rifle, I could see how this forend would be much improved if you preferred to mount on the sides instead of at 12 o’clock. The aforementioned shape coupled with a forend that doesn’t flex should keep it zeroed quite well.
All-in-all, this is a very cool upgrade!

Excellent high-quality handguard for the Hellion. The fit and finish are flawless, and it feels solid as a rock in your hand. It’s surprisingly lightweight, considering that it’s machined from a solid block of aluminum. It doesn’t noticeable change the balance or handling of the rifle. Shipping was super-fast, as always from Manticore. Great upgrade part, highly recommended.
